No, it didn't get crushed. That's a myth. Now, a partisan, democrat Senate said it was bogus but I tend to believe the people involved than a partisan congress.

It depends. This is just one report (from a democratic senator, I believe?)

If torture is needed and gets the information to the CIA to save our lives, I'm all for it. If it doesn't work, it's dumb and they should stop.

I don't know of specific instances of torture overseas, but I have a lot of friends in special forces and part of their training is being tortured. Not sure about food up the ass specifically, but the sleep deprivation, waterboarding, confined spaces, dark rooms, etc.
 
For lords sake read up on the subject before commenting on things you have no idea what you are talking about.

No wonder this country is at a standstill
