126 dead and counting...

If I have to read another ****ty anecdotal story on here I'm going to gouge my ****ing eyes out.

That reminds me of this one time I read this story where this old man's evil, elder daughters gouge his best friend's eyes out.

And speaking of tragedy: yea, this whole deal is pretty ****ing depressing.

go to Lebanon and i dare you to say Muslims won't drink

got drunk in Jordan as well.

Egypt was tough to find booze but it was there.

Qatar it is illegal outside of 5 star hotels for westerners and the rich really

Add Tunisia to your list. And I can't speak to Algeria proper, but certainly plenty of French Algerians living in places like Marseille and Paris drink.

I think the US has a history of unduly indiscriminate airstrikes based on little to no information. I believe that policy shows a clear disdain for the lives of civilians.

I don't think I put that in the same category as going after school kids (them being the actual target)

(not to say collateral damage is always right; it depends on the situation)

same thing happens here

i am sure i could drive about 15 minutes from where i am right now and find a farmer tell me how gays should marry and at the same time they have a tattoo and planting 2 different types of crops next to each other

Because, it's cultural differences, not universal acceptance. Christianity preaches against premarital sex but that ****'s been going on forever.

Relevant.

It's not exactly the same, no. But calling what I posted "collateral damage" undersells it by quite a bit.

It is times like this when I feel I have--in some intermediate way--glimpsed the face of God.
