How did we at least not get Liriano out of this? The Pads have like 32 outfielders
None of the OF'ers are coming off TJS

If you can't score you can't win. The Braves will be last in runs scored this year.

I doubt the offense could be much worse than last year honestly but this year we should have better pitching.

Getting a first round draft pick is possibly better than this package.
In rankings? Sure, it can't get much worse.
In run production? It can get a lot worse
I am a little underwhelmed by the lack of a big name here, but this is definitely not true.
It is certainly possible. How likely; that's debatable.
It could and it could get slightly better (although more unlikely). Again, this move was about a rebuild. I'm willing to endure a down year or two as long as these players show promise. Not sure how anyone can say that the players we got back aren't interesting as potential everyday players
Fried is a legit TOR arm.
Markakis
Callaspo
Freeman
Gattis
Johnson
Simmons
Upton

Hart:
"Look, 2 things in play here. Look, anytime you have an opportunity to acquire a pitcher with high upside that has had Tommy John surgery, you have to do it, because, look, it ensures almost completely that they will come back healthier, stronger, and better than before, and look you don't have to worry about the potential for them to have to go under the knife in the future. Look, the other thing in play here is, when you look at it, we need speed. Look, we feel as an organization we need to upgrade athletically and especially speed. Look, look at the Kansas City Royals, they ran themselves to almost the World Series. As it is, it's not as important to look at the ability of one player to posses the skills to get on base, but more so the ability to look and see the potential to get on base and move forward and quickly and touch home base without, look the ability to hit the ball out of the ballpark. Look, that's what we've gotten, that's what he have done, and look that's where we are going forward as an organization."
Its also possible that Markakis is better than Heyward next year. Just not probable.
