Around Baseball

It's pretty damn annoying.

Yeah it is. A lot of so called experts picked them to run away with this division. I dont want to say im sick of hearing about Harper, Strasburg, and the Nats, but we have been in first place all year long and you never hear anything about it. You just hear about the Phillies and Nats struggles.

Well, from MLB's standpoint, there's nothing to sell with a 9 game lead. They wish they had a pennant race and they don't.

ESPN I quit watching several years ago. That's a local sports channel. Maybe the Fox offering will be better. They could make a fortune by covering everybody but NY and Boston.

Speaking of the Nats, looks like they are lining up their top 3 vs us next week in DC.

Just gotta find a way to steal one, anything more is gravy.

Maybe I'm confused by your wording, but they are simply keeping the rotation in tact, not altering it to have those 3 face the Braves.

Of course we are 5-2 vs. them in games started by those three this season.

I remember the last series those announcers said they weren't worried and will catch us because they injured. We had a big discussion about it, but if you bring up EOF or Venters or our hitters batting in the .150's, they didn't want to hear it.

Of course not. It's all selective to them.

No thanks. His biggest offensive strength is negated by the Braves (they turn great baserunners into average ones).

Never said the Braves should trade for him.

Just interesting they would consider it after signing him to a huge extension.

Wow Angels may consider trading Aybar and Kendrick for Peavy......

Awful move if that happens.

Seriously? Lol. Wow. Sure, let's go ahead and trade our short stop and 2nd baseman for a sp. Good plan. Gut the middle of the field. Might as well move Trout too.
