Reporter: "Gov. Cuomo, why do you veto a bill that will help thousands of kids going to loving parents, even some that are gay?"

Cuomo: "Screw those kids, they should have been snuffed out in the first place. I am not going to give them any money to be adopted, their moms should have taken care of them in the first place, they aren't people"

Reporter: "Why pass the transgender sex change, there is no logical explanation for using our tax paying money on people who weren't born right, is it not like the problem you stated with foster children?

Cuomo: "They are adults and responsible individuals"

Reporter: "If that is the case, shouldn't they pay their own medical procedures, it is their choice, not ours who are footing the bill, while the children have no choice and have families that want them?"

HE is a F*CKING DICK.

We want to adopt, but the red tape because we are a mix couple is making it difficult. But if I want to adopt a Russian, or Chinese, or Indian, not a problem until they tell you the bill. If you want to adopt a mix kid, impossible, unless you want to spend almost six figures.

This is the reason why we have so many in the system and why some of them become violent and law breaking adults. Schit like this.

They make it hard now for a family to adopt. I know adopted people who said their parents had no issues but when they tried to adopt, it was like an NSA security clearance level and then money on top of it. I understand pedophilia and what not, but the money you have to spend is ridiculous.

This is why our country is messed up.

I can't either. It is helping kids, but what pisses me off, why should a person who wants to sex change is more important? It is their choice, make them pay. A kid have no choice, they want to be loved and cared for, why should their want to be adopted parents have to foot the bill.

Then they cry why foster kids commit crime, have no parents that took care of them. If this was Russia or other bad countries, they would be in an orphanage till 18, that is way worse.
 
I asked my wife on how much it cost her sister to adopt (they can't have kids naturally due to husband had cancer at an early age).

A white baby in state, 30k.

I was like WTF?

She said to do a background check and other fees?

I was like "right", a federal background check is less than a $100, a statewide is even less, sending a PI to all places you live is not even a $1000 unless you live in 20 states and since they never left the area, it wouldn't been a problem.

And they did not get reimbursed. Well they make a lot of money as well so it wasn't a big issue. They made a choice and had to pay but you want a sex change, we pay for it.

Boy I am pissed now.
 
I know that there is a lot of variability in laws from state to state and cost differences based on region, but that sounds crazy high.
