A gunman shot and killed two New York City police officers as they sat inside their patrol car in Brooklyn Saturday, then fled to a nearby subway station where he turned the gun on himself.

The attack took place in Brooklyn at around 3 p.m., the New York Daily News reported.

Things are going to get ugly in NY if Mayor de Blasio doesn't do the right thing.

Just another example of how officers put their lives on the line every single day. The armchair police officers criticizing their actions after the fact have no clue what it takes to do their jobs. No, they aren't perfect and there are some awful officers out there but I am grateful for the jobs they do every single day.
 
Yep, they should never be held accountable and are above the law

Will we get a breakdown of these police officers history to see if they really area a fallen hero or not? I mean, we get the criminal records etc of every person a cop kills to show they are just thugs. Seems only fair

Sad thing is these two cops were patrolling an area which they never patrol for a crime suppression program.

How about showing some outrage about murdered cops? Is that beneath you? Or is it only outrageous if black civilians are murdered?
 
In fairness 57, there are no moderators on this particular sub-forum (REAL TALK).

I also do not particularly care about the political views of my mods, since I only ask them to mod the main forum (Braves Baseball), and have BRule as the Head Hostess in the BBQ.
