Stereotyping is a part of good investigative work. It shouldn't be the base of your methods but it has to play a factor.

I think this is the main problem. I don't get why people jump on Wilson for defending himself like he did, but he could have avoided it is the only thing he was guilty of, but the cop in NY should be behind bars. It is not the cops fault, but the jury. They killed those two cops, not the crazy person who did while invoking the name of Brown and Garner. If they did the right thing, we would be in better shape. Those 12 or so on the jury have to answer for this.

It is the reason why I don't get pulled over. They have my credentials, I never committing any crime, my employment, everything, but I had to bitch and complain to the DA about them to stop their habits of following me.

I do not even go to bars because I am so afraid of getting pulled over. If I do go, it is with my friends and I am scared to death driving with them because even though they have a couple of beers, their driving is not something I would write home about.

Don't know how I feel about him in jail honestly. I haven't thought about it that much. Its a tough decision IMO. I don't believe there was any intent to kill Garner so that limits his culpability right off the bat. I could see it either way. But this man should never have a job that serves the public in any shape or form.

I believe what you are saying and I do believe that DWB is a real thing. But, my stance is that the cops should not be the ones that blacks/hispanics are mad at. The majority of you innocent blacks/hispanics should be pissed at the minority that are making your life more difficult then it needs to be.

We are cool. Just going to let you and I apologise earlier. People think blacks are the same we aren't. People think and know who we are and they don't. We have more pressure on ourselves more than you ever know.

Let me put it to you this way.

I am black but I don't act black, hear me out.

I have a bachelors degree, I have other "things" that aren't black in nature, why? Why is it prominent for me to have these specialities when we all have the means to get it. It is because I went beyond my station to obtain this, I did not want to be a statistic. Don't get me wrong, more often than not you are correct and your assessment is correct and I try my hardest to get that label off of us, but I can't. I can't do it when I have Jesse Jackass and Al "The Devil" Sharpton making us the victims all the time. Blacks feed off of them and their hatred of whites. They are holding us down, they are denying us jobs, they this, they that. No they are not. When you get the job, it should be your life. You have to work harder than whites, yes, but the harder you work, the more they trust you. I have keys to my company, I have all their financial statements, anything they have I know because I am the head guy. I am black, they all are white. The owner trusts me with his life because I proved to be reliable.

Through hard work breeds acceptance, but most of my kind don't want to work but reparations.

Until that thought process goes away, we will have this.

Again Thethe, I apologize if I was really pissed at you and shouldn't have been. I was defending my race and bottom-line I shouldn't have, we made our bed, now we are still lying in it.

AA, I understand why you got pissed at me. I've said some things that I should have thought twice about. This is a really sensitive issue obviously. I wish more blacks/hispanics thought like you. Then we could move past all this racist bull**** that we deal with today (in both directions). We could all do a better job in getting this solved. Unfortunately, I believe that the onus is on the minorities though. Yes, its going to be harder, as you alluded to, but its most certainly possible. Make the right choices in life and work hard and you will have some semblance of success to pass to the next generation. It has to be done at some point or else we will never move past where we are today.

Alas, I don't know if we can. Jackson and Sharpton is the problem. There are no others like them which is good. The others are more of the Republican types that blacks look up to. If they can incrementally swing them into being more responsible for their lives and get off the gov teat, is the only way we can get through this. But I will be dead and buried when we get to that point.

Just keep preaching AA. The black youth of America need people like you and not the garbage of Sharpton/Jackson. The more successful blacks that step up and really teach what life is about the better. The problem will get solved eventually. I'd just rather it be sooner. You are doing more than most so I appreciate your efforts.
 
To be honest AA, another thing that I think is detrimental are all these white people who are protesting because its "hip" and "cool". I don't think the root issues that are causing these problems are being addressed. I feel the answer is all hate the system and white man and just give out more entitlements. The problem is its very easy to accept this low hanging fruit.

In well over 99% of the situations, absolutely. I can't see a logical reason to get pissed off at the policing function in this country because of a minute percentage that are not good at their jobs. Those people need to be weeded out of the force but this public outcry that the police in this country are corrupt is too much. Again, we just see the world differently.

yeah, they aren't humans who can make their own choices

i remember the defense of some people that said they were just following orders and doing their job. we disagreed that it was a legitimate excuse

Obama called the Police chief in NY and spoke to him but Obama didn't call de Blasio. Awesome. You liberals in Ny should feel proud of yourselves for electing him. Hopefully the murder rate in NYC will only double instead of triple in the upcoming years
 
Damn, politics aside, Mike Bloomberg would've had this **** nailed down in about 15 minutes.
