The last day when temps is above freezing we went for a walk. We live in a neighborhood of middle class families, 1500 to 3000 ft houses and income of 100 to 150k and 2 or more acre yards, so we normally see one of our neighbors who walk have kids and what not, but when we went by their house, lot of notices, yard was in shambles, toys and other things in the yard...an eye sore. I talk to my next door neighbor and he said, this happen ONCE before and the county came in and tore the house down after several months.
It would suck to be the neighbor on both sides and across the street as their houses look better than mine and I think I have the 2nd biggest in the neighborhood at 2300 sq ft ( actually expanding it for the better, with two kids and the way they play and the toys they accumulated, a '1400 would not suffice).
This is a subdivision, 8 miles south of city nothing else near, minimum acreage is 2, some like mine is closer to 3, one way in unless you want to go private property and that is dangerous if you are a teenager if you want to drink beer and not get caught, the owner of the tree farm has camera's everywhere. We saw the po po come in OFTEN and we knew where they was going.
I am black and the myth of black people moving in driving down property value is a myth. Keep your yard neat, don't have hoodrats or bathtubs or laundry lines and what not, you won't have an issue.
