Braves sign Chase Utley (lite) to a minor league deal

Another example of a no downside signing. Johnson won't embarrass himself at the plate at least.
 
Now with KJ back in the fold, Hart needs to bring back Prado at some point where we can re-visit the old Prado vs KJ discussions.

Minor league deal so it's fine. I'd rather see what we have with Toscano and Almonte but no risk move.
 
I still like Johnson, but he's not really starting material anymore. Good signing for the bench or as a platoon partner. He still has those reverse splits though, so it's guaranteed that Fredi will ignore this and we will get the least amount of production possible out of him.

Fredi is KJ's wrong manager at the right time.

I liked KJ when he was here back in the day, so I suppose it fits with our whole nostalgia angle of 2015 of sucking balls.
