Like button?

No like button but there will be a Thanks system and Post of the Week Nominations.

Have a feeling Meta or Julio may be the frontrunners everytime they type.
 
It essentially is the same thing.

If Julio posts a hilarious sarcastic remark, and 15 members click "Thanks" it's basically saying "awesome post". Usually the people with the most thanks, usually get the post of the week nominations as well.

I think that's a better indicator than a like system. A lot of people can like a post, but that doesn't mean it was awesome. Usually people don't click "Thanks" or Nominate a post (you can only nominate one post per week per user) unless they really really enjoyed that post.

And why is that? Everyone knows each other for the last 5 years and what they post about. Does it give you a boner if your rating is high, that is the only benefit I see in regards to you.
