No surprise with pick 1. It makes sense. They need a franchise type quarterback and Winston could be that player.

tennessee gets their man in Mariota. Wonder which direction GM yeezus has the Jaguars go with pick 3.

They should go OL but can also look to team up Cooper and Blackmon (assuming he's sane)

Didn't think about the Cooper route. I mean their wideouts now are young, but have talent. However as is the case with a lot of teams the Jaguars are lacking a true number 1. Cooper fits that mold.

Unless you have a terribad OLine I think it's a really bad idea to take offensive linemen top 10 overall. The jags should trade down to about 10-15 if they want an offensive lineman.

Went with Williams for Jacksonville. Thought about OT and DE, but I felt they had more depth at DE and Williams is BPA at an area of need. I mean, almost every position is an area of need, so not the toughest pick. Just went BPA.

Williams is a load. Jacksonville has a talented defensive line, but Williams is a talented kid who makes plays. You are right though. Jacksonville has a lot of options and can pretty much pick any position. I just would have liked to see offense myself.

edit: did you PM Heyward?

yes i did

Williams is the most impressive prospect I have watched game tape of. He almost always beats a block. It might take 5 seconds for him to get to the qb but I watch a lot of players who get blocked like Beasley and you could give him all day and he won't get passed the block.

Gregory is an explosive edge rusher as well as being pretty solid against the run. His work ethic and motor sometimes is non existent. Needs to be more explosive.

The Rams need play makers on offense. Parker can be that go to receiver for whoever ends up playing quarterback in 2015. I thought about offensive line, but Parker being there made me want to snag him. Ideally I could see St.Louis trading down as well.

Shelton is a stud. I 100% take BPA because that defense needs all that they can get.

If Ray was available I would have gone with him.

Why take Shelton over Fowler? We don't need a DT. We have 4 good ones. We basically have 0 DEs right now. Assuming we resign Biermann again we have 0 passrushing DEs but a good run stopper.

I like Fowler but he seems like a lower ceiling guy. Shelton is being compared to Haloti Ngata. You find room for those type of players hence me taking BPA

Besides, there are a lot of good pass rushers as free agents this year. We can sign some of those guys (Brandon Graham, Orakpo, Hughes, etc.)

Would you have taken Devante Parker for the Vikings if he was available, seems like a perfect match giving Bridgewater his #1 receiver from college.
