Oh, Chipper...

Don't think it says much about the intelligence of you twits if you link to a **** hole like Deadspin either.

Here watch this clown:

Don't particularly go to Deadspin all the time, but it is a place to go to see off the field sports news and funny sports moments.

What does that have to do with anything? The only reason I linked to them is because they were the only ones who had the actual tweet.

This clip was one of many examples of irregularities from supposed grieving family members and witnesses. Does that man look like somebody who's young daughter was brutally murdered the previous day? At the beginning he thought it was all a big joke, then he wasn't very convincing while trying to "get into character."

The Chipper tweet was that Sandy Hook was a hoax. So, that clip had everything to with what was being discussed.

OK, that's fine. Do check out the comment section though. It includes somebody else, claiming to be a family member. Not surprisingly, it includes a link to send donations. :cooter:

I didn't even recall what event Sandy Hook was till this thread about Chipper, etc. However, after looking up the details via google I found some similar and strange "irregularities" myself. Anyway, I could care less if Chipper trusts the feds or whomever regarding official stories about this event, Waco, etc. Further, we all know Chipper has his issues (both past and present) but the fact is he was a great baseball player, a HOF third baseman. Plus he was an Atlanta Brave his entire career too. This is a Braves baseball forum and not some political forum (though I understand there is a section for such discussion). Personally, when I come here I don't come here to promote my views on politics, religion, etc. I come here to talk about baseball related issues and that is all that concerns me with regard to discussing Chipper Jones. Now maybe if he went and murdered someone I might change my tune but hopefully he isn't that crazy. :)

I was t talking about the video being irrelevant, I was talking about your comment.

Cristina Hassinger, the daughter of the principal of the school who died in the shooting, said the hoax claims are 'irresponsible.' Jones quickly took down the tweet, and has since apologized for his comments, but Hassinger said the apology was not enough. 'You can meet my grandmother-less children and I'll show you my mom's clothes riddled with bullet holes,' she wrote to Jones.

Ouch.

I live in Connecticut and have an Aunt who knows some of the parents who's kids died in the shooting. So yeah I believe Christina Hassinger.

Chipper's just a good ol' boy that will believe anything you tell them. The south is full of them. They don't think for themselves. Whether you support the President or not he is a prime example of what I am talking about. The birthers still won't give up and you ask them to back it up or shut it up and they will say somebody told them or it come off of a website that is run out of Momma's basement. And don't think I am throwing off on the south. I am just as hillbilly as Chipper is, maybe more so. I will admit I am as intrigued about some of the conspiricies as anyone. The JFK killing, the '91 Gulf War being all about oil and the economic impact on the US, the AIDS epidemic being biological warfare and created in a lab and not some monkey bite in the jungle, and Alien visitation. Those are the big four for me that warrant more investigation. Point is, things like the school shootings, 9/11, the Holocaust they should be treated with a different set of rules. If a person can bring new credible info to light then fine, do so. If not, leave them be.

I don't think any less of him as a player, but I don't feel one bit sorry for the dumbass. He deserves every bit of flack he gets for that crap.
