FYI: MLB.TV Group Accounts (for those of you outside Braves TV Territory)

Braves1976

It's OVER 5,000!
I am sharing this MLB.TV information from slickdeals.net just in case any of y'all are interested in buying MLB.TV this year and want to save money by joining a MLB.TV group. I buy and sell online a lot so I am on sites like slickdeals.net quite a bit. Anyway I noticed recently that they already are setting up groups for this year via slickdeals, so I went ahead and joined one. The cost is $33.00 per person and groups are typically 4 people. I didn't do this last year because I found the full season of a shared account sold on eBay for cheap. But I decided to go this route this year where I can catch all the spring training games online and via my streaming apps on my android devices.

For more information, visit this thread at slickdeals.net and just read through the posts till you find someone setting up a MLB.TV group that still has openings to join. Then just private message them and ask to join up. That's what I did.

SD'er since 2005 right here :)

If I had known you were looking for a MLBTV group I would have invited you to mine, three of us have been pooling for the past several years with no problems at all.

Cool, maybe we can do so together in 2016 if you still have it going and have an opening. :)

There isnt an issue with trying to watch same stream from same account? I thought they blocked that.

If thats not the case, I would be willing to join up in a group with guys from here.

Nah, but if you split an account with four (including me) like I am doing you should limit yourself to two devices that you login with to be safe. I bought a shared account on eBay last year and shared it with my homie Jeff in North Carolina and we both used it together with the owner without any issues last season.

Your group full Hawk? Anybody else interested in forming a group?

I'm waiting to hear back from the guy I usually do it with. There may be one or two slots. I'll let you know if he responds tonight.

Theres a chance my other group may fall through, if so I will put one together on here. Just as a heads up, if you are in Georgia area, you will probably be blacked out from Braves home games.

FWIW parts of WNC are blacked out from Reds games as well.

Still haven't heard anything back from the guy I usually go in with, so I may be looking for a group here soon too.

RE: Blackouts. The Braves seem to block large portions of Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida, that I know of -- but you can easily get around the restrictions with a cheap VPN service.

I had mlb.tv the two seasons prior to last season and I just gave my buddies my login information and we could all watch games at the same time. This seems like a waste of money, unless they figured this out and blocked it.
