you replied and said something i never said, too.

i said lebron was using cliches. MSG has that reputation and history. I don't think it means as much as it use to. It likely is a great place to play even today. but lebron isn't going to risk his reputation to play with a guy like melo as his running mate. even if they land okafor. provided everything falls perfectly for them, he MIGHT sign there. i think it's objectively a longshot.
 
Apparently everyone is an idiot, except for the person who thinks players will, for some reason, flock to play with Melo. lmao
 
So there are multiple people on here that don't understand what BRULE said. Makes sense some of you guys don't go to college but root for the likes of UNC, Duke, Michigan St, and Kentucky.

I understand completely what he said. You are right though I didn't attend Michigan State. I was too busy serving my country to attend college at the normal age.

So is this goingto be another example of a player giving and compliment and yet not signing?

Also, are these players going out of their way to compliment NY or are they being asked a direct question?

They're being asked about New York. This is what's always repeated about New York. A lot of major cities get similar or similarly cliched responses when asked about it. It means nothing when it comes to free agency. No one is jumping to play with Melo. No one is going there solely to play at MSG. Opportunity to win and money come long, long before that, and it's not close. Melo as a fellow max player is behind a lot of guys top-tier players will choose to jump to. And that's not close, either.

wow, the originality. fact is no one is dying to play with melo. that's the point. you can give me MSG quotes all day, they're cliches that players may find true but don't mean anything. players say these things about the cowboys. it doesn't mean anything.

Nah, didn't hear that. But I wouldn't agree. I believe we are pretty fair and balanced, but not homers.
 
Dragic tells Suns he'll OK a trade to three teams: Heat, Lakers, and the team that apparently no one wants to play for with the ballhogging "star."

Apparently the Suns want Hardaway Jr and a 2018 first rounder. I'd pass. If he gets to FA and he's our best option, sign him, but there are enough options out there where we shouldn't burn assets trading for the guy.

I'd do THJ straight up, obviously, but not much more. If we really want him, then we will just sign him in the offseason.
 
lol Hardaway Jr. straight up for Dragic. I don't care if Dragic leaves Phoenix in the summer, that's an awful get for him. Hardaway is balls garbage.
