If he's such a great passer and can run the O, why doesn't he?

Again, not knocking KD but Harden is better at running the show.

Because they have another guy whose pretty good at it and KD is so great that he can play on and off the ball.

For whatever reason, BRule bashes everything OKC does and never gives them any credit.

KD is the best offensive player in the league, Harden isnt too far behind him (SEE I GIVE HIM CREDIT!)

But saying Harden is a better offensive player NOW than KD is stupid but it doesnt surprise me given how biased BRule is to OKC.

Saying he's a better offensive player isn't stupid. It's very close.

The fact that you legit think Klay is better is evidence enough and this isn't even factoring everything you said initially about Harden. You are bitter about the trade. Not a doubt in my mind.

I dont think he's better, i just dont think the gap is that big.

I'd like to have him back sure, but still having 3 elite perimeter guys on one team would be hard to work with, all of them need shots, all of them are alpha dogs.

So they see the cap rising now but didn't see it before trading Harden? Hilarious and a giant kick in the dick to any OKC fan.

You're too funny. Nobody knew the cap was going to where its going now.

Also, Harden wanted to be the lead dog on a team. Something he wasn't going to get in OKC. We saw how it played out with Jackson. Had Harden not been traded when he was it would have been the same problem.

Thunder will never be a lottery team as long as they find a way to keep KD & RW. Thats the goal.

And if Durant leaves you won't have much cap room to bring in other players to augment Russ.

That's the big issue with giving Kanter the max. Hell I would be hard pressed to give him 10 million.

Read my next post, having 3 elite offensive players would be hard to work with.

It's been talked about before by people around the league.

I dont think Enes gets the max though but if he got an offer sheet for one, they'd be in a pickle.

Well the guy who runs the show just got 17 assists in under 30 minutes.

But...

Hard to work eh?

I guess a Finals trip with those three is clear evidence of that.

OKC would have cap room to add a couple less than max guys if KD did leave, and they kept Russ.

Even with Kanter on a max (dont think he gets that, more-so around 12-13), but if he did, they would have a tough decision.

Ok but when RW was on the team and Harden was there and wasn't this version of Harden, Brooks still let Harden run the show late in games and at other points. Why wouldn't he do that for KD, who's the franchise player? Not knocking KD but Harden is going to drop 7 APG this year and gets to the line at a stupid rate.

Question, you dont think Harden would of complained a little about not getting touches like he is now.

Hell, he did after the Finals game they won because he didnt get enough shots.

If you need a bucket late in the game, who would you rather have shooting?

Depends on the situation, I'd rather have KD running off a screen or something if I need a 3. If I am down 1 and need to get to the rim to create something, I'm taking Harden.

I don't know the answer to that question and neither do you.

If Dion Waiters can find a way to jack 15 shots a game there, then I think Harden could too.

If KD leaves (I'm starting to lean towards no) then you want to make sure you have a good PnR partner for RW. Kanter is so young that he has plenty of room to grow.

Why would you let different ball handlers share responsiblity. Can you even imagine how taxing it is to be the sole ballhandler on a team? Its a huge advantage to have two guys that are proficient at administering offense.

I think Waiters is going to see a huge cut in his time when KD gets back. At least he should...but Brooks....
