McClure thought we had an offer to him still out, but we just signed Obrien Shoefield as OLB/DE

Yeah I saw that. McClure stated that it was "substantial".

I really like this shotgun approach they are taking. No difference makers, but very nice depth that help difference makers emerge.

Nice to see skins beef up defensive line. Shluld help out the pass rushers. Knighton, Parea, Hatcher is tough with some solid depth.

Maybe we do go edge rusher in first.

I would think this officially removes the chance of them drafting Shelton.

Looks like pretty strong odds that you guys draft an edge player, but that's a spot where I could see the Skins trading back.

Scot M always takes best plyer available, which i agree with so I wouldnt completely throw out. Also Knighton only signed for 1 year.

Morgan and Orakpo to Tennesee

Only silver lining is this effectively removes them from drafting one of the four pass rushers.

I would have really liked Morgan, but it seems he would have cost more than what the Titans gave him. Probably a good idea to steer clear of that.

Scotty Mac putting in some solid work. Not signing the biggest names, but identifying younger talent and signing to reasonable contracts.

Culliver at 4 years, 16 million guaranteed isn't bad at all....graded out around the 15th best corner last year. His contract compared to Byron Maxwells appears to be a steal.

Stephen Parea is a very good pass rushing 3-4 DE and Terrence knighton is a good run stopping NT. Now is probably time to sign Ron Parker for FS and a right tackle and get after the draft.

Well woke up too some good news. Love the signings. I think going into FA we knew we needed to get at least 2 of Worilds, Orakpo, Morgan. Ideally would rather have had Worilds over Orakpo, but will gladly take Orakpo.

Not necessarily. Our line still needs work. Only legitimate DE we have is Casey. Leonard Williams with the No.2 pick is still very much a possibility. As is Mariotta, Cooper, or White, or trading simply down. Eagles don't look like a fit anymore to trade down (not that they were a good fit at 20th overall) so may be we could get the Bears and Jets involved in a trade war. Hell, may be the Browns are dumb enough to trade both their 1st for him.

If we're staying at 2, I think we take Williams. Mariotta doesn't fit Whiz's style. I don't like passing a QB like MM, but we need so much talent, not just a QB. Williams is definetly the safer pick. And Mettenberger wasn't terrible, especially for a rookie with not many weapons.

I didn't mean to include Williams with the pass rushers. I was alluding to Ray, Fowler, Gregory, and Beasley. I think it's a slam dunk that you guys pick Williams. The only other mocks I had seen had you guys taking Fowler.

Lol the Cowboys gave McFadden basically no guaranteed money, not $5 mil. He can make UP TO $5.88, but he will have to have two very productive years to do so, so it's essentially a free look. I'm not pumped about it, but I know it doesn't mean much. I'm sure he will run fine behind the line.
