but his two terms have gone very well
Initially I was very concerned at the lack of experience of BO, but his two terms have gone very well. ACA blowing up could have ruined it all, but it went pretty well. I would guess the jury is out on the long term effects, but for now it has been solid.
I sense some sarcasm
I have never felt that a President has any impact on the economy.
I personally think we are at war with Russia now. Just not fighting directly.
We're not at War with Russia. Russia is having an ideological war with their Elite vs the west's elite, and the West's elite ripped their tits. It wasn't a war, just a salvo to see their standing.
Yeah, so Putin talking about mobilizing his nuclear arsenal during the Crimean conflict was just an ideological hedge.

Putin is just a chess piece. He isn't in power if the Russian elite don't let him be. Similar to our president and congress if you would. If the rich were truly displeased, the president would be gotten rid of.
The oligarchs don't have remotely near the power over Putin that you believe they do. If they actually did, Crimea would have never happened. Putin is a different breed, he's also one of the richest men on earth. He's not beholden to the elite in the way previous Russian state leaders have been.
I disagree. While I think you're right that Putin is different than some other leaders in Russia have been. He's still the same. He's hardly that popular that they couldn't get rid of him. Crimea was a move that was put into effect to test the West, and the West put a near perfect reaction in place. Didn't incite WW3 and crippled Russia economically.
Way to sip that propagandic Kool Aid.
Russia got to keep Crimea and roughly half of the Ukraine, took a half year economic hit (which they are rebounding astonishingly well from), and became more resolved in the process. Putin is going nowhere.
