Spring Training 2015

Tough day for Folty. Even a couple of the outs were on hard hit balls. 2.2 IP, 5H, 2HR, 2BB (including one to the pitcher), 4K.

Looking at his full body of work this Spring and the command concerns coming into camp, he seems like an extreme longshot to make the rotation out of camp and may need significant time in the minors this year. Given that, we may not be in a position to trade away any of our depth.

I never believed Folty had a shot in the first place.

Decent showing for Banuelos. 5 baserunners over 3 IP, but the best part was that he was hitting 93-94 on the gun. Velocity was more around 90-91 first time I saw him.

Yea, I still believe the Man-Ban trade was one of our best deals this off-season.

Now that we've lost out on Olivera, we might as well sign Chacin who the Rockies surprisingly dumped.
