Spring Training 2015

Good point about Viz, I don't disagree there but I was more throwing his name as an example of someone that has the potential to be a good closer. Plus I'd prefer to have more than one option as a potential replacement before entertaining offers on Kimbrel. Further, if you see my response to Hawk you'll see that I am in no hurry to trade Kimbrel and that I'd want a big return. Kimbrel is one of my favorites.

Don't forget about Shae Simmons.

Tigers were Stultified over the final five frames:

Not saying they could've got Dekker. Just saying that Russell has a similar value to Blevins.

Gotcha. My point still stands. den Dekker is a borderline CF starter/4th OF...good defense and solid on base skills. Essentially would probably be starting in CF

BTW, I don't see the need to carry Gosselin along with Peterson, KJ and Callaspo. Chris Johnson can pitch hit vs lefties if he sits vs most righties as I'm hoping. That will give both KJ and Callaspo AB's at third too.

Except I think you'd prefer to keep Gosselin around so he can give Simmons a blow at SS to leave Peterson alone at 2B.

They ate the money on Russell, we can always hold out hope that they'll eat it on Callaspo too.

Fredi has already talked about using Peterson at short if Simmons needs a day off. Further, the Braves ate only around 600k on Russell while with Callaspo they'd need to eat the full 3 million.

Saw Pankake hit an absolute BOMB in Chapel Hill a couple years back - didn't think it was ever coming down.

I just put it together . . . my local sports talk station broadcasts USC games. I tuned in once in a while but didn't really follow the team—I used to hear them referring to "Pancake" and I assumed it was someone's nickname.
