This has to be the best place to enjoy a Braves game, including the stadium.

It's easy to win games when the pitchers give up on average 1 run per game.

The pitching was impressive, even the two runs against Wood were not on him so much.

It is fun to see great infield defense for a change so far, thankfully CJ has only played one game. But watching Peterson and Simmons up the middle is fun. Further, I don't see how anyone could not like Peterson, always hustles, does the little things well, and IMO looks elite defensively at second. Plus he's looked very good at third in the past too.

We'll have to see how much he'll hit, but he's versatile and athletic. Always nice to have one of those. At the very least, he should develop into a top-notch utility guy and that would likely be his floor. Could be an everyday 2B or 3B.

IIRC a couple of years ago we started the year getting swept at home by the Mets. We went on the to playoffs or it was a collapse year. Mets hung in it for a month or so and then talent won out.

I know we acquired young arms, but the mets have some really good young starters.

I really hope Peterson hits. I want him to be new Prado so badly....without the second half collapses and trade to Arizona.

Last year's team had neither piss nor vinegar.

This is getting old after 3 games while the jokes in the offseason were still fun?

Braves are still going to be slightly below 500 this year. But, its fun for me now because I have always had faith in the front office.
