Uhhh I just saw the Simmons play. It doesn't get much better than that!
Small sample size alert:
The following teams are 4 of 5 of the teams who have struck out the least in the 2015 season (in order):
Kansas City
Detroit
Atlanta
Colorado
Their combined record you ask?
16-0.
Yes my friends, baseball is changing.
Stats early in the year are fun.
Jim Johnson has a -.73 FIP

We'll see how that looks at the all-star break

Dont think anyone here thinks they'll win 95+, but if they could hover around .500 and play spoiler, it would be a good year given all the trades.
I thought this was a really good buy low move.
Sure, but I was referring to the teams with the least amount of strikeouts having the most wins
It's a fair point, you can win without the long ball.
The two teams in the WS last year won with defense, timely hitting and great pitching.
pfft he's slacking compared to Martins -1.13

Sure but that had nothing to do with striking out. Royals were first in lowest K% but the Giants were in the middle of the league. The teams with the most wins won't be the ones with the fewest K's.
Wonder what he would look like over 6 innings.
What do you do if the Braves are in a wild card hunt? How can you trade him if he is still dominating? You might have to first talk with him to see if he would sign a team friendly extension. He isn't exactly old.
A ****load better than Stults.

I'd rather trade Grilli than Johnson but could certainly consider re-signing him if the price is right.
But it depends on what the offer is for him.
