Braves in talks with DBacks for Trevor Cahill

Markakis was horrible to as so you claimed and yet he looks pretty good right now. Are you buying into that small sample or just one that fits an argument that you want to have?

Markakis has an ISOSLG of .023 lollllllll

Unless you think he's going to hit 380 this year, I'd say your tune is going to be different in a month.

He's also been a negative in the field

Or he will start to hit for more power as he moves further way from his surgery. I mean why use logic. We just live in your warped world so that you can troll.

Next 4 years I'll gladly bet on who has the better career

Is that basis going to be a flawed WAR stat that overvalues Heyward? As a hitter I wouldn't be surprised if Heyward and Markakis have similar value.

Unless Heyward turns into a 5 HR player and loses his speed, I don't see how that's possible. Markakis is now an all average player, he doesn't have any power or speed. My likely guess is, he ends the year at : 279 / 343 / 381

He's a 280 hitter and will have a 710-730 OPS with below average D......is that horrible? Not really but it's not someone you give 44 million dollars to.

44 million sounds like a fantastic bargain.

You should take this up with Brule. It was said facetiously because we're judging players by the first three weeks, right? In which case Markakis is a bargain, Cahill is the worst SP ever, Heyward is terrible, and we robbed the Cardinals blind.

I'm taking your side guys. I'm making fun of thethe's argument that 44 million for those numbers is a fantastic bargain.
