Well they aren't getting their pick this year so it was a positive for them to make the playoffs. And geez, if Lopez plays like this they might even win a round which is a success for any franchise.

What a success. They were the 8th seed in arguably the weakest conference in the history of professional sports.

Just wait till next season. The Knicks have all this cap space and free agents are gonna be lining up for a chance to watch Carmelo shoot 25 times a game.

At least Monroe and the next best free agent are headed to MSG. They are going to be a force.

The NBA released its Last Two Minute report from the Hawks’ 120-115 overtime loss to the Nets Monday in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series. The report found four incorrect non-calls, three that went against the Hawks, at the end of the game.

According to the report:

* The Nets should have been called for a 24-second violation with 59.6 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The report found that Jeff Teague did not gain possession after Paul Millsap blocked a layup by Deron Williams and the shot clock was incorrectly reset.

* The Nets’ Brook Lopez should have been called for travelling with 36.8 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The report found that Lopez jumped in the air and landed before making a pass.

* The Hawks’ Al Horford should have been called for a loose ball foul against Lopez with 1:16 left in overtime. The report found that Horford clamped Lopez arm during a rebound.

* The Nets’ Alan Anderson should have been called for a loose ball foul against Millsap with 30.7 seconds left in overtime. The report found that Anderson held Millsap and affected his ability to retrieve a rebound.

No Parsons or Rondo. Houston has a good roster despite what people here say. Josh Smith and Dwight Howard were much more important to winning the series.
