2015 NFL Draft

By the numbers: 48 players drafted, four Pro Bowlers, three All-Pros, eight players to have at least "one season" as starter.

That's 5 seasons worth of drafting, last 3 when they haven't been at the top of the draft

San Francisco drafts since 2012: 30 players, one Pro Bowler, one guy who has started at least one season.

I'm sure there are tons better than him. He's average at best, adn the rest of what happened this offseason wouldn't convince me he's great.

Evaluating a draft in 2-3 years is ailly. Last year's draft was a home run but now it won't look as good because of Borland. He was on the fast track to being an all pro.

Also, evaluation based on starting and pro bowls is foolish on a roster that was as deep as the 49ers the last few years. Use your head...you're smarter than that.

Why go against the strength of your drafting. The team lost Willis/Borland and will lost Justin smith real soon. Eric Reid gets a concussion every game and nobody knows what's going to happen with Aldon Smith. Your Fandom continues to mystify me. Defense was CLEARLY the number 1 need for the 49ers.

So when they continue to lose games 17-10 is it the defense that needs to be improved?

Are they only letting up 17 point because of the defensive additions? Then I think the plan worked well. Eventually the focus will be offense. They did spend a bunch of money on a wide receiver this past offseason in the event you missed that.

Oh yes that one trick pony Torrey Smith. Has the worst hands in football and can run one route.

I'm still shocked we took a corner when we have Trufant and Alford. I know they're small, but why get a nickel or a corner who pushes Alford to nickel now. At least they could have gotten a need. Espeically considering how ****ty our LBs were last year.

Seattle influence coming though. He loves those big corners.

Can anyone who actually knows or cares anything about the NFL tell me if the Saints have drafted well thus far?

From a scale of 1-10 I would call it a dumpster fire. With the 13th pick we acquired the best backup tackle in the league. Maybe Peat starts and we bench a Pro Bowl caliber RT. Neither starting guard are good at pass protection, Unger is old/injury prone, and we have 3 tackles of which none are well suited to playing Guard. Anthony was a good pick, its hard to run a 3-4 with 0 good linebackers. I dont hate picking Hau'oli Kikaha as much as some people. He wouldnt have been my pick but I think he can be an effective situational pass rusher if healthy. Atleast 10 players I would rather have in between this pick and the Saints next pick. Garret Grayson was a pick flushed down the toilet. PJ Williams was a decent value pick. Saints quietly adding a lot of big press corners this year with 6'3 Browner/SJB along with 6'0 Lewis and Williams.

His drafts were much better when he had Scot Mcgoughlin with him

I have really liked the Redskins, Falcons, Niners, Bengals and Jaguars drafts so far.

Lots of great value throughout.

I liked the Niners until they drafted a freaking punter in the 5th. Don't they have Andy Lee? He's the best punter in the world.

Preston Smith was my favorite pick of the later rounds. He has Michael Bennett written all over him.

I like the guy. Skins are adding size. They are going to be like the Niners that when u come in and play them, you won't be able to push around. Smith, Scherff, the ILB, and the guard fit this mold

I think at this point, the Jaguars are doing the best job. I also like what the Falcons are doing. Atlanta's pass rush should be better with the additions of Beasley and Jarrett and I'm also a fan of the Tevin Coleman selection.
