5/17/15 Braves @ Marlins

Not sure the internets work like that ...

Can we have a moment to appreciate the game just pitched before going through the Miller is the second coming bull****?

I just wanna know how it all ends for Miller? Whenever we get a young guy that shows so much promise it usually results in

Arm issues and multiple TJ surgery,

Shoulder issues that result in instant death,

Or a inconspicuous knee injury that appears to be nothing

I mean we are the Atlanta Braves, and JS did indeed sign a deal with the devil so that's that.

The two aren't mutually exclusive. Unwad your undergarments. I think people are doing both.

Saying that the Braves won the Jason Heyward trade because Shelby Miller almost threw a no-hitter is just straight blather, sorry.

It also seems to detract from the fact that Miller almost just threw a no-hitter. And has been pretty freaking incredible this season.

Shelby Miller 1st pitcher in Braves history to open a season with eight starts of 2 earned runs or less.

Shelby Miller threw 1st-pitch K to 24 of 30 hitters and had only two 3-ball counts. He was clocked at 93 mph or better 64 times, 95+ on 30.

Yes... the only reason people are saying we won the Heyward trade is because he almost threw a no-hitter... *most obvious sarcasm ever*... plenty of people were saying we won the trade before he even threw a pitch as a Brave.

I don't ever remember them being as consistent as Shelby has been.

Just stop.

The dude's seven starts into his Atlanta career. We're barely over a month into the season.

One step at a time.

Take a Xanax bro... I will not stop being excited to watch Shelby Miller... and if I want to talk about it, I will talk about it... he always had the pedigree and the potential... he started it last year with the new pitch and new approach, its not a new thing this year... get over it.

I'm not suggesting you stop being excited about Shelby Miller, I'm suggesting that you stop saying idiotic things/being overly defensive.

I'm not the one who made an unnecessary post after simply praising Shelby's performance to start the year. In fact, I wasn't even the one who mentioned the Heyward trade. You tell me the last pitcher to pitch back to back shutouts as a Brave... I'll be waiting. I made one comment... I don't remember anyone consistently working this late into the game consistently as a Brave recently... I don't think that's an unfair statement. How is that an "idiotic thing?"

EDIT: Okay, not back to back... 2 out of 3... still bet you have to go back to Glavine/Maddux/Smoltz to find that. I will gladly eat crow if I'm wrong.
