5/22/15 Brewers @ Braves

I can't help but think that maybe the Braves front office gave Fredi the choice on who to pick as his 5th starter this offseason. Not hard to imagine Hart and company giving Fredi the decision on who he wanted as his 5th starter, mainly as a test in regards to his roster decision making. I personally could give two ****s who the Braves chose as their 5th starter. Both were pure fill ins. The Cahill money on the other hand... that was a front office move and that was money that should have been spent elsewhere. A logical move, but one that did not work out.

If that was the case it looks even worse for Fredi because Fredi is the one who said publicly Wandy would make the team. In other words, Fredi would have did that and also flip-flopped his position. Maybe he did, I just got the feeling there was more involved.

Well I didn't get so excited over yesterday's win because we were lucky to score as many runs as we did.

We aren't as good yet as most of you think we are. This offense is jekyll and Hyde just like our last few offenses were. At least those had a puncher's chance. If we don't BABIP another team to death we aren't going to score as much runs.

We also have no reliable 5th starter and Folty is still a project in the works as far as I can see. I'm not as confident in him yet as I am with wood or Miller. Teheran still has to prove he's back before I can comfortably expect us to win his games.

Most people still think we'll be around the 72-78 win range but the team is still better than many people thought we would be.

Of course Folty is still a project, and who ever said he's on Miller's level, Wood hasnt been that great this year. I would say something else but i'll end it there.

I dont see what point you're trying to prove here.

Is this a serious post? I can never tell with you.

Folty on Miller or Woods level? And you are surprised by that? I don't think anyone else is shocked by a rookie with promise scuffling a little. He has looked great at times, and not been able to escape trouble.

I also don't think we are as Jekyll and Hyde as last year either...

Mainly due to the offense performing over it's head for the most part and hitting better than expected with RISP. Things I don't necessarily expect to continue all season.

You're just mad we traded Heyward.

I mean probably true, but if they free-fall and get a top 10 pick, i dont think many would be mad, a protected pick to use in FA on someone.

This was a spot start from a guy who hasn't pitched in a while. Can't really chalk it up to ST personnel decisions. Hopefully Perez will assert himself and we'll have him and Cody at the back of the rotation.

Point is he's useless and a waste of a roster spot regardless.
