How has Cruz been better for longer? AGon has been great this yr, but he was riding an insane hot streak the first couple of weeks of the season. He has cooled off since. And A-Gon hasn't been an elite player since 2011. I'll take Donaldson over Tulo given Tulo's never plays a full season and isn't that amazing of a hitter outside of Coors. And Harper certainly hasn't been better longer than Donaldson.

Including CJ is a net loss. SO no point including him. We would have been better off putting TLS or Gosselin, at least they're cheap and can be cut fo free.
He's actually been remarkably consistent.

Someone can have a k/9 of 11 and not be an ace if they throw 180 innings every year. I still think Strasburg has to take the step of throwing a lot more innings to qualify as an ace. Kluber was an ace last year. Price is an ace. Kershaw. Felix. These guys are reliable, steady, and will often pitch deep into games. Strasburg is not there yet despite great rate stats.

Sabermetrics and rate stats don't mean crap if they don't translate to the end results on the field. So far it hasn't for Strasburg and only Nationals fans would say otherwise
