Yep. What you said about Gomes goes for Johnson, too. For what it's worth Johnson has been one of the best hitters in baseball against lefties since joining the Braves.

A person like Gomes is a terrible choice for a manager like Fredi. In that regard, I think it was probably a bad pickup by Hart.

Gomes does make more sense for someone not rebuilding like us. Plus Fredi can screw most anything up IMO.

That's true, he can hit lefties and I never mind him starting vs them aside from watching him on defense. But like Gomes he's not hitting righties hardly at all anymore.
