Is there anyone in the media with the balls to ask the Braves how badly their Carolina pitching staff has been maimed by the bus wreck of over a month ago.. There are still five pitchers on the DL who allegedly suffered injuries in the wreck, including a No. 1 pick. No one is saying or writing anything, and I think it's possible that there were some serious (baseball-wise) injuries resulting from the rollover. The position players (Schrader, Peterson) and one pitcher (the other Peterson) are the only players to rerturn so far.

This just in ... the DSL team blows.

A quick search through twitter shows that Janas pitched off a mound for the first time post-wreck on June 2. Sims seems upbeat on twitter as well. My guess is that they're just working themselves back. For a pitcher, to sit that long with an injury, you need some throwing time before you're ready to go back into a game. I'd guess we see them all pretty soon.
 
I actually laughed out loud when I saw Braxton Davidson's line tonight: 0-1 with 4 BBs.

Does it confuse you when you go to home games and the fans are only cheering for the home team? Where is the objectivity in that sort of behavior from these so called fanatics?
