Around Baseball 2015 Edition

ROFLBBQ, Francoeur 1-2-3 inning. Throwing 86 mph but throwing strikes. Doesn't really look like the Orioles are even trying. First batter watched 3 straight strikes without swinging.

Surprising stat of the day via Joe Simpson:
Jeff Francoeur has more RBI (21) than Jayson Heyward (18) this year.

#Phillies are leaving Francoeur out there to die because bullpen phone is off the hook. You can't make this stuff up.

Jeff Francoeur has been out there for 46 pitches. Not amusing anymore. We're talking about a guy's health.

Reading a couple things on Twitter, Chase Utley was apparently made Francoeur was left out there so long

That's silly. I've been watching this game, and Francoeur very obviously wanted to stay out there.

Heck of a debut for Schwarber, Cubs have quite the future assuming they get some more starters in the next few years.

In addition to his power being sapped, Heyward isn't taking walks anymore. Wonder what's going on with him.

I, too, have Souza in my dynasty league. I took him in the 6th rd, definitely maybe a little too early. The bad thing is we use BA and strikeouts for hitters. The good is he's on pace for 30+ HRs and almost 20 SB, and walks a ton.
