I hear your thinking but Jace has had really good AB's vs a lot of guys. deGrom is a dynamic pitcher and I was glad to see him go.

True, I don't disagree. Just Gilmartin had success against Jace before and Jace had battled deGrom tough tonight plus I thought he might be tiring. Jace is just so clutch in these spots so maybe didn't matter.
