If we gave them CJ, I would've ran outside nekkid screaming the British are coming.

I am pissed about the money spent on another freaking pitcher we will DFA sooner than later.

We just don't have that money to just to blow.

He has a contract of 9.5 this year which will be prorated to around 6 (portion Braves are on the hook for) and then a 4.5M buyout next year. So its closer to 10M.

Also, Toussaint was just given a 2.7M bonus because of his draft status. These first round picks are not cheap and the Braves did not have to pay that.

Nobody is taking Chris Johnson. He is a horrible baseball player. That money it just goingto have to be eaten by the Braves.
 
Okay I read the contract wrong. Will pay less than 11 mil for a pitcher that we will DFA and for as they seem a legit prospect.

I hope the prospect pans out.

I am less than angry now but it is not my money. If they want to throw it away, let them.

Yeah, this deal is all about buying a top 100 prospect and if you look at what the international players get this was a great value deal for the Braves. They have a bunch of money to spend.

Lol... You shouldn't be angry anyways... This deal is simply highway robbery. Possibly one of the best Braves trades of all time
 
I like it. Toussaint very raw and will be lucky to be ready in 3-4 years. Nice to get a pitcher who already has tommy john out of the way. Too bad he's almost 40
 
Touki will be among youngest of the new Young Guns. He was traded on his 19th birthday.

Touki Toussaint showed off his immense talent on Friday with a sparkling effort. He tossed 6 shutout innings on one hit and one walk with 5 strikeouts in Kane County's 4-1 win, and only needed 73 pitches to do it. This one could be special down the road.

I am an honest person. I said I would come back and apologize. I did not see the buyout part or pro-rate, they didn't mention that.
