Heyman: Braves have tried to trade CJ eating alot of the deal.

Right, when his BABIP was about .280 he was a lot luckier

I don't think you understand how BABIP works and how the league average is around .300 give or take the player. .230 is super low for anybody and almost always means they had crappy luck. Exceptions do apply but when the given player has a career as a 280-300 BABIP guy I think you have the answer.

I do, I think we give them one player too much is the only complaint.

I wouldn't mind having Braun on our team. He did his deed and paid the price, I am a person that give second chances. Aroid I won't because he still denies it.

Thanks for that AA. Think Sims, Hursh, and Castro could get it done?

Dude, no way. Even the people who disagree with you the most will love having a well-argued and creative post to pick apart and argue about. This is very welcome as far as I’m concerned.

J

Thanks J! I greatly enjoy debating and "talking" with you guys. The ones who can look at both sides of everything, are the ones who I enjoy talking the game of baseball and especially our Bravos with!

Let's go sweep (at least win the series) the Gnats boys!!!

If he wasn't an ex Brave, I gaurantee you wouldn't want him on our team at his age. How does he make sense for a rebuilding club?

Did I say I wanted him on this team? All I've said is that he's not a product of Yankee stadium and that he's been playing to his base level for liek the last 6 or so years. He's a 120ish WRC+ guy unless he has one of those really crappy BABIP years.

Well I disagree with that based on his splits that could very well be legit given his age and his player profile. It is not a stretch at all to say the splits have some merit.

Sure it might have some. But it's also such a short sample size this year. He has a 844 career OPS at home compared to 770 something on the road. Yes this year his stats are way off in regards to home/away. But people had the same concern about Justin when he was leaving Arizona. He hit better in Atlanta then on the road here. And he's actually hitting way better in Petco then on the road this season. Some players are just like this.
