The Thunder will reportedly meet with Enes Kanter in Chicago on July 1, and are set to offer him a 3-4 year deal that could reach maximum-level money with incentives.
Thunder are backed into a corner with Kanter. They can't spend that money if they don't sign him and Kanter does a few things really well that they need.
He isn't worth the max but not really sure if the THunder have an option.
Well, they can NOT offer him the ****ing max

It's okay. Defense isn't THAT important.
And then not be as good of a team in a year where they are trying to win a title to keep Durant?

What options do the THunder have?
And when Durant leaves at least they have Kanter as second highest paid player.
Honestly? Renounce his bird rights. I like Steven Adams way more than him.
And when KD re-signs the Thunder are loaded at every position.
Most loaded team to never win a title?
I like Adams as well but Kanter is a player that does things well and some things terrible. If you can find a way to teach him to simply be bad at defense then he becomes a really good player.
He isn't very smart. He's not very quick.
He's probably the worst defensive player in the NBA that gets legitimate minutes.
You gave that guy a max.
A contract has not been signed.

Couple things......
1- Did you seriously just say the Thunder won't win because they don't sign Enes ****ing Kanter?????????????????
2- How are you so willing to max Enes, if Adams is a top 10 center?
