He's a RFA. GS is going to match any offer. This is a non story.

It matters because he will probably be offered a max in RFA then GS wil have to play more than they wanted or else he would be signed by now. That messes with their flexibility unless the owner wants to go heavily into the tax. Curry is obviously going to get the monster max deal soon.

Not sure I understand why the Suns brought in Chandler. I thought Len showed a lot of promise last year.

It probably has more to do with Green wanting a player option and GS is hoping no team wants to tie up there cap room for three days and Green has to sign the full 5 year max. Everyone has known for months that Green was going to sign the max. They aren't surprised by this.

Nice, OKC agreed to a 5 year deal with Singler at 25M.

He wasn't great but I think he is going to be a tremendous glue piece in a more structured offense. He started playing real well after the first month.

@WojYahooNBA: Restricted free agent Kyle Singler has agreed to a five-year, nearly $25M extension with Oklahoma City, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

I don't hate this contract. It's a bit long, but if they actually use him going forward then I I think this could be good value.

I like Singler. This likely spells doom for Dion I would assume.

Tall guys that can shoot 3's at 38% clip is a great asset. Plus, he is a decent defensive player and is just a very cerebal player. I think he will thrive in an actual offensive system.

When you have guys like KD/RW you just need to give them two things.

1 - A big that can catch the ball on the roll
2 - Shooters around to space the floor

With Morrow/Singler/Ibaka we could see the best offense in the league next year. Defense might be an issue though with Kanter in.

I wouldn't be too upset with Waiters not playing considering the talent on the roster. I still think he is a NBA player but with KD back in the fold we don't need another volume shooter.

He's a good player to have and he won't be overpaid, but you are basically paying him the market rate for what's he's going to bring. It's a nice piece to have for sure.

Jonas Jerebko back to Boston for 2 years 10 million.

I thought he would have been a solid signing for the Knicks honestly.

Maybe they are smart and aren't giving "dray" a max deal.

Yeah, it isn't a great deal or anything like that. I just think players like that compliment the Thunders stars. Its even a bigger plus when you can get taller players who can shoot that can defend decently.

It's essentially identical to the Morrow contract when accounting for inflation.
