Heyman Speculates Kimbrel Could Return

I would not pay a premium for Kimbrel honestly. Love to have him back though.

I'm interested to see. I would not be surprised at all to see him back. If he does and it's under a decent price (not likely) then I'm excited!

Depends on cost. I wouldn't give up anyone major. Tyrell Jenkins, CB, and Camargo would be as high as I'd go.

I'd give nothing of substance for kimbrel. We have shown we can get by. We need hitters and to keep sp depth.

We have viz, Simmons, fl ped guy, hursh, kid we got from the dodgers, rule 5 guy from the Rockies and a host of college arms we just drafted. Craft a pen out of that. Folty could be in pen.

No way I would spend more than folty for him.

Kimbrel value comes in the playoffs. Like when your in an elimination game and need 6 outs you bring in the best closer in baseball to finish it off. Wait, I changed my mind. Only trade for him if we get a manager.

Geez...people have gone crazy.

Eh, you are basically talking about giving up a major chunk of what we got back for trading our best players to get back a player we already had if we did that. Not the best move really to me. Though my main issue would be the fact we'd be paying a closer 10-12 mil a year again, which we never should have done in the first place given our payroll level. And that's not even getting into the fact that Kimbrel has been worse than Grilli this year while pitching in one of the best pitchers parks in baseball.

If recent history is any indication, with Kimbrel having a down year to his relative ungodly standards, Hart should be able to bring him back for Ciraco and Arroyo.

Hey, they also might be in the market for a new manager! Uh huh, I got an idea.
