Yea, so was Viz only throwing two pitches and Gomes PHing vs a righty (despite the rare hit). But Fredi is going to Fredi.

Carpenter mainly throws a 88-89 mph sinker with that slider we saw as his strikeout pitch. He gets a lot of ground balls too.
