I don't know about yall but I really enjoyed the new format. It brought a lot more excitement to the event in my opinion. What did you guys think about the format and Todd Frazier's performance?
New commish has been doing good work. I enjoyed it for the first time in years.
If they ever scrap Chris Berman, it would be glorious.
BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK GONE!
How does that lazy sack of langers keep that gig? Or any gig, really. Nobody likes him, right?
Thought it was the best home run derby in years. Congrats the Frazier for the win. Highly competitive contest that wasn't as drawn out as it used to be.
By the way when was the last time the home town guy won?
I don't even really like Bill Simmons, but an organization that fires him and Olbermann but keeps giving Berman plum assignments (and paying Skip Bayless) has its priorities out of whack.
Ryne Sandberg, 1990. Format was different (AL vs NL) but Sandberg was the overall champ.
How about this for nostalgia: Garret Anderson won the 2003 contest.
Yep. I attended that one as well as the ASG. First year it counted, and dumbass Dusty Baker left Smoltz in the pen.
