I'd say arming ourselves is embracing our freedoms.

I can't understand how such intelligent people do not see the danger that we are facing in the future. This is the most dangerous enemy the world has ever faced because yiu can't just invade a specific land and defeat them.
 
The wounded sailor has died. That makes five. Found out today that one of the Marines will be buried in the National Cemetery here in Chattanooga.

I believe the more we learn, the scarier this becomes. Shooter grew up in Chattanooga, was a varsity wrestler at a suburban high school, got his degree at UT-Chatttanooga, lived with his parents. Very curious to see if there is any substance to the "activating" e-mails theory.

I was at home during the shooting. Could have just as easily been at the Lee Highway mall.

Ummmm nope.

I can think of many more dangerous enemies than your bogeymen without leaving the banking sector.

This has been a very slow invasion plan. There are cells operating all throughout the US just waiting to be turned on. We have no clue who is good and who is bad. We are facing a very scary time in the future.

Sooo... my wife went to UTC with this guy. She sort of met him once and her friend has a picture taken with him (that my wife took) on her instagram. As part of some project in her and her fiends social work program, they were interviewing people of different faiths, and he happened to be one the Muslim people they spoke with. They said he was very nice. This was about 2 years ago they said.

Some people have mental issues and their beliefs lead them to do bad things but that doesn't mean they are in cahoots from day one. This guy was crazy just like the kid from charleston SC. I don't believe this guy was a sleeper cell or anything, he just went crazy and did things in the name of Allah

But based on all accounts he was a "normal" person who had a lot of friends and people liked him.

I'm not sure he fits the profile as the person that snaps.

You do realize I'd basically bet money this was a false flag operation right? What better way to drum up support for perpetual war against an enemy as you put it "can't just invade a specific land and defeat them." then by having an attack on American soil? I mean many believe Pearl Harbor was preventable, but what gets the nation ready for war more? Repelling a japanese force or being full on destroyed by them?

That's where I'm at. I recognize there is a violent strain of Islam that can produce this kind of incident, but in this instance I think this is a lone gunman similar to the Tsarnaev's.

What's more believable, thjis guy was an ISIS sleeper, an organization that hasn't existed for very long, or that ISIS (which was created by our government) wasn't behind it and US plotted this. Seriously, don't see it? I wish I could be as trusting of the people in power as you.

You're f'ing insane if you think this was a set up by the gov't to drum up support for a war on terror. That's Jesse Ventura crazy
