The Toussaint trade reminds me of the Smoltz trade. We got him while he was still in the minors from a clueless team. I think he said he didnt even have a pitching coach when he was with Detroit.

6 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 8 K. Has to continue working on his control, but this is the kind of start I love to see from him.

23 K and only 13 H allowed in 25.1 IP since being traded, though the 16 BB are obviously way too high. Still, if you include his last start before the trade, that's 31.1 IP, 14 H, 9 ER, 17 BB, 28 K. I'll take it.

14 hits is dang impressive. Just reel in that control but he is pretty young.
