Riley has been killing it after that first 20 Abs.

Soroka with the Ks is good to see

Ellison seems like a fast mover as well

Peraza 3-4 with a 2B and a 3B. Hitting .366 over his last 10 games. I think it's time to see what he can do. What can it hurt at this point?

Austin Riley has hit a home run every 15 at bats after his 1-21 start to the year. 5 home runs in 20 games, slugging well over .500 during that span. He still needs to cut down on the strike outs, but I think that will come as he progresses.

This guy is looking at making his debut in Rome next year, IMO. Could very well play in High A and AA in 2017. With Rio Ruiz's struggles this year at AA, Riley may just be the top 3B prospect in the system.

I'm really intrigued to see Austin Riley, Braxton Davidson, Dustin Peterson, Connor Lein, and Juan Yepez develop as they progress. I think those guys have extremely high upside bats.

I like those bats too. I just wish there were a lot more of them.

We might be wanting him to stay down there and improve his defense. He's committed 19 errors so far this year.

I have only watched about 3 games of AAA Braves but I saw 1 error charged to Peraza that was 99% the 1B being horrible at scooping the ball. Peraza hurried the throw when he didnt have to and bounced it to 1B but Freeman makes that play 999 out of 1000 times. From nearly all accounts he is excellent defensively so I think he will have less errors with Freeman helping him out at 1B.

Nice write-up on Jenkins at milb.com. I thought he'd start the year in High A and end in AA, but he's shot beyond that. Link: http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20150727&content_id=139095170&fext=.jsp&vkey=news_milb

Love the bats in the GCL. Those guys are about a light year-and-a-half away, but that's the best set of offensive performers we've had in that league for quite awhile.

I hope he can stay that level-headed for the next few years. Sounds like a great kid.

I really like Jenkins. He's a keeper we should be making room for in the rotation at some point next year.
