This sounds good at the start. Seems it may have been us that bought that draft pick (by picking up Morse's salary).

We should absolutely get a huge package for giving up Wood and taking on Morse's contract.
 
Jose De Leon is a pretty sexy SP prospect who's pretty close. If we turn Wood into him and a good young bat I'm happy

I'm ok with wood going. We never had any rumors of him and an extension so I thought the powers that be were worried about his health long term.

But I'm scared moving him now. I'd prefer to do it during off season where every team is bidding.

We better get at least one long term controllable bat that is an easy pencil in to start next year and be an above avg hitter. And we better be planning on landing a FA pitcher that does not suck. Doesn't have to be Price level, but hard to think a Miller, Tehran, Wisler is going to be good enough with Folty, Perez, Bone spur Man ban, etc filling us out.

If the Braves deal w/ the Marlins and Dodgers is completed, Jose Peraza, Jim Johnson and Alex Wood could all be included.
