We Finance Barbarism

i really don't care that planned parenthood sells dead fetus parts or whatever else they are doing that is making some of yall butthurt about them again

i don't need a roundabout way to get to that point

Where's the unlike button? You wouldn't care if a funeral home sold your Mom's body parts to make a profit outside of your knowledge?

I would want any profit from harvested body parts to go towards paying for funeral bill, but otherwise wouldn't be that upset. It would be a blessing to help others after you are dead. I would vote that everyone be organ donors by law.

The hack job attacks on Planned Parenthood are just that. Hackjob attacks. Sad that people get suckered into this fight because of edited videos by a group who wants to take them down.

Yeah, how dare they edit a half hour long video down to hit the high points. Doesn't change the fact that they are selling body parts.

Which is perfectly legal and benefits science. I mean to be honest, it's about the best thing you can do after an aborted pregnancy.

Deaf ears, zeets. To the majority of individuals outraged by this story, what ultimately happens to the body-parts doesn't matter, because they're against the process that leads to there being body-parts in the first place.

The monetary aspect is what most people are upset about, I hope. That is repugnant to me on a number of levels.

'Human' organ donation isn't a for-profit venture, why should fetuses be?

Yup. Treating abortion like a business is disgusting.

Jim Vaught, president of the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories and formerly the deputy director of the National Cancer Institute’s Office of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research, told us in an email that “$30 to $100 per sample is a reasonable charge for clinical operations to recover their costs for providing tissue.” In fact, he said, the costs to a clinic are often much higher, but most operations that provide this kind of tissue have “no intention of fully recovering [their] costs, much less making a profit.”
Carolyn Compton, the chief medical and science officer of Arizona State University’s National Biomarkers Development Alliance and a former director of biorepositories and biospecimen research at the National Cancer Institute, agreed that this was “a modest price tag for cost recovery.” Compton told us in an email: ” ‘Profit’ is out of the question, in my mind. I would say that whoever opined about ‘profit’ knows very little about the effort and expense involved in providing human biospecimens for research purposes.”

Sorry, I call shens on that bull**** spin. Again, what's the going rate for a donated human organ on the open market?

There was a Pride parade here yesterday and I saw a Planned Parenthood float.

Listen I'm not an expert, but neither are you or anyone else in this threat. I'll trust someone kind of knowledgable about the subject over you or Fox News or any other rag article I've seen on it.

Or, just try applying common sense instead of weaksauce defenses.

and yet another Faux Outrage that wilts in the sunlight
..............

A July 16 investigation ordered by Indiana Governor Mike Pence found no evidence of any laws being broken and no evidence that Planned Parenthood facilities in Indianapolis, Bloomington and Merrillville had sold tissue from aborted fetuses, the Associated Press reported.

wondering how this fits in the Paglia thread ????

why are you guys wrong so much ?

well common sense dictates when Fox News types harp on something, it's not a real issue.

This coming from the guy who thinks the shootings in Tennessee were a false flag attack. I'm surprised you aren't drooling over the conspiratorial angle here.

Fox News types? Way to be a partisan sheep.

This isn't the Paglia thread...

I take liberty with my coffee, too.

Only in Indiana?

But please continue ... I'm loving the ignorance of facts and blind acceptance of morally dubious activities.
