2016 Presidential Primaries [ SUPER TUESDAY | 3-1-'16]

Looks like Rand is going to be the attack dog this year... This is pretty damning of Trump though

Good for him, but unfortunately the percentage of people who care what Rand Paul says is miniscule and there's nothing that he can say about Trump that hasn't been said already.

I think it's more damning of the conservative side and shows that their policies are less and less appealing, even to people who consider themselves Republican. Look how quickly they got behind a fake-conservative with a reality show. The Grand Ol' Party is in serious trouble. Because of gerrymandering and being dug in so deeply in local politics, they'll remain strong there, but national elections look beyond their comprehension.

Y'all, this is legitimately brilliant.

Trump has thus far finalized Rick Perry and arguably Rand Paul. I think Scott Walker or Carly Fiorina are the next to be Trump't

So here comes Joe? Link

Along those same lines I recently read this interesting OP ed from Monica Crowley

She and Mr. Obama have a long history as frenemies. Recall Mr. Obama’s rejoinder at a 2008 debate, when Mrs. Clinton touted her likability: “You’re likable enough.” Or recall President Bill Clinton’s famous put-down of Mr. Obama: “A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.”

Beyond the bad blood, however, Mr. Obama has a more important reason for doing her in. As I have written previously, he needs a successor he can control. Over the years, including recently, he has waxed rhapsodic over a possible third term to continue his “fundamental transformation of the nation.” Mrs. Clinton will not provide it; therefore, she must be sidelined....
...This brings us to the certain presidential candidacy of Vice President Joe Biden, the one person who can effectively give Mr. Obama that third term. Indications are that he is seriously contemplating it, making initial plans, reaching out to potential donors, and benefiting from the Obamaites whipping up Biden buzz. The White House is even floating the idea of one-term for Mr. Biden, to reassure voters that they wouldn’t be making a long-term commitment (even though, as an extension of Obama’s presidency, it would be.)

Like the Clinton investigation, this is not by accident.

Once Mr. Biden joins the race, he will enjoy the full backing of Mr. Obama. With Mrs. Clinton gone, however, Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden will have to make it up to Democratic women and the radical left, which is currently flirting with socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders.

There is only one person who kills both birds with one stone: Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Siphon off some of the Bernsters. And Ol' Joe can snag the establishment types. The Banks would have their guy and the 1 Percenters would have their gal. Not to mention the Native Americans.

Jordan Driesen:

Actually Mr. Carson. Male-on-male prison rape is the type of thing the Bible is referring to when it calls homosexuality a sin. And that's usually what happens in prison, not so much consensual. So, if that's what you're opposed to, I agree. Let's face it, most gay men are not going to marry somebody that uses power/control to force sex on them. Typically they marry the man they love. You know, like heterosexuals couples do it.

I don't think anyone who's really into Bernie would consider Biden. Running with Warren isn't the same as Warren running.
