This will be the first time someone other than AJ has caught miller since early in the season. Hopefully miller and Bethancourt work well together

Fredi says Bethancourt will get a majority of the starts the rest of the way. They need to see what they have in him entering the offseason

Yeah what happened? I remember him being touted as a hard throwing lefty but can't recall him ever getting a shot. Did he just run out of time and leave as a guy who wasn't good enough in AAA to put on the 40 man?
 
Freeman is an out machine. I'm sure there's a really good reason but with the pronounced shift against him on defense why doesn't he just bunt it to the left side every time he's up?

Dropping a bunt would require him running to 1b
 
Bases loaded, nobody out in the top of the second with the pitcher up. The way things have gone this year, however many runs Miller gives up this inning will be the number of runs by which we lose the game.
