Where are those people who said there was no chance we lose 100 games go? Thought I was wrong, eh?
I predicted 71-91, but after the trade of Johnson and Uribe, I made the conjecture here that 100 losses wasn't out of the question.
It just goes to show you how bad pitching can totally deflate a team. This team was never going to come close to sniffing the playoffs, but when you go out there every day figuring you're going to be down a few runs from the get-go, it's difficult to muster up the energy to push your limits.
