REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Well, I wasn't aware he wouldn't? Just figured it was a possibility.

Per D. Orlando Ledbetter, Mathis only talked to Denver and Seattle. He wanted to go to a Super Bowl contender.

I understand the question. It's a fair one to ask, but I have a similar thought every time I see a "why didn't they trade for player X?", or "sign player X?" It's totally ignoring the mutual interest aspect.

It's one of the funniest things I am seeing on the Braves board right now actually.

Levitre to Atl. Should do much better in ZBS.

Levitre sucked in Tennessee, but he was always playing injured. He is definetly a better fit in the zone blocking scheme.

Shame be couldn't live up to the contract. Hope he does well in Atl. He's a really great guy and teammate by all accounts.

RG3 staying on the team.

Oh boy.

Redskins are expected to keep RGIII on 53-man roster today, as @JeffDarlington reported. Not everyone in their building is happy about it.

There is no reason to hand him to Philly right now. Also, he's not even cleared to play so can't cut

I suppose it seemed like a really good fit.
I also wouldn't totally rule out Atlanta being a legit contender.
