REAL FOOTBALL Thread

I gave them grief, but 1-0 is better than 0-1. Played pretty bad most of the second half, but found a way to win. That's big.

I think in the second half their DL was gassed. Unfortunately that's not good for the rest of the defense. Most likely we'll see as the season wears on an improved defense.

As I see it, Falcons dominated first half, Eagles dominated second half. Game was even. Difference was missed FG by Parker and Red Zone INT by Ryan (really a fantastic play by Alonso though) it was a cointoss game at the end and the Falcons got the lucky toss. If you look at the stats basicalyl everything was even. First downs, third down conversion, yards, all well within standard deviation. It was really down the line, only big advantage was penalties and yards.

On the topic of penalties, I loved how Bradford was all butthurt over the OPI call on the most obvious of all the OPI calls of the night.

My god is thethe Trent Dilfer?

Ive never heard so much praise for a mediocre QB performance.

Lol...

Matt Ryan had 8.8 YPA.

He was a major reason why they won tonight.

I mean, he wants that good (or bad). Two picks. Missed a wode open receiver for a td that bounced off Barwins helmet. The Eagles have among the worst pass defenses in the NFL
