9/18/2015: GDT Round One...Duel in the dumps

Bethancourt made a big league play there, and it might cost him. Afraid he was blocking the plate. FIgures.
 
I don't know about anyone else but IMO the rules they've instituted about blocking the plate are absolutely inane. In a play like the one Bethancourt was involved with, it absolutely makes no sense that a catcher can't catch a flip from the pitcher without worrying about violating the new rules.

While the Posey injury was gruesome, the rules they've created as a result are equally hideous.

Viz had to get five outs that inning but he was up for it. His slider was really working for him tonight.
 
It's basically sewn up that the Braves are picking in the top 2. So these wins aren't a big deal as long as they don't make a habit out of it.

Fredi is a joke and pulling Garcia for that is embarrassing after we've ignored lack of hustle plays, etc. Fredi is an idiot, he blames Wood at a crazy time not even knowing what's going on, among others. Now he is making an example out of Garcia after in the past making light of veterans not hustling, etc.
 
Fredi is currently dealing with accusations of the team purposely tanking, him losing the clubhouse, and being on the hotseat himself. He is overcompensating.
