REAL FOOTBALL Thread

They played fantastic today. Even if was Metterberger.

The offense is befuddling. Matt Ryan has had some clunkers the last few weeks.

They were fortunate to have not given up more in the first half. Second half was outstanding, as good as they've played all season.

Idk what the deal is with Ryan or Shanahan. Not going to Freeman down there at the goal line was inexcusable. And then you get super-conservative at the 40 with 3:30 left on the clock and Tennessee having all their timeouts. It's just so amazingly stupid. Sometimes you have to win ugly, but this team has to start playing more consistently and the offense has gotta finish games.

Yep.

Tony Dungy said that if you play the Patriots, you can't be conservative.

Well, now we know why. You have to go for it on 4th down as the Patriots defense is not that good and you have a mobile QB. You punt they will dink and dunk you too death.

The Patriots did get away with a couple of holds, but that is normal when the team is undefeated.

The 7 they gave up in the first half was off an interception. There is some give an take, but the defense was fantastic from start to finish IMO.

I think what's important to remember with the offense is that any given week you can look terrible, I think we will have more weeks than not when our offense looks like a top 10 unit and we just need to continue to bank wins until the playoffs when we will see what type of offense we have.

NFL is such a fickle beast

A year ago the NFC South was a disaster. Now the Panthers are undefeated, Falcons are 6-1, only 3-4 wins from locking into the playoffs after nearly having the top pick last year. Last year thethe said it was a virtual lock for SF and Seattle to be in the NFCCG, they're currently the last 2 in the division.

Pretty crazy in reality.

I cannot believe the number of Cowboys fans defending Greg Hardy on message boards and social media. This guy is a lunatic. I didn't get to see the game, but I've seen videos of the situation today. He got into the special teams huddle, berated a coach and slapped the clipboard out of his hands before shoving a teammate. Dez was actually trying to calm him down it appeared to me. Hardy then said something to him that got him mad. Hardy started all of that. He is out of control and is going to cause a major problem before too long if this keeps up.

UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE! Jerry Jones continues to defend Greg Hardy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/25/jerry-jones-defends-greg-hardy/

Jerry calls him "one of the real leaders of this team" and "he earns it with respect from all of his teammates and that's the kind of thing that inspires a football team".

ARE YOU KIDDING ME????????????????????????????????? If it hasn't been clear by now, it should be. Jerry Jones has lost his mind.

Tom Landry is rolling over in his grave.

Where is the weekly Kirk Cousins hate posts from giles? He sure was awful again today.

Im pleased with his solid performance and comeback vs. an awful team. I really am. Hopefully with DJax back he can complete a couple passes outside of Alex Smith range.
